Privacy Policy for Planno

This Privacy Policy explains what data Planno collects, how it is collected, how it is used, when it is shared, and how it is protected. Planno is developed under the Topsense brand.

1. Data We Collect

• Account Information: Unique identifier and email (if provided) when signing in with Apple or Google.
• User Content: Tasks, schedules, notes, preferences, and images you attach.
• Microphone Data: Audio input only when you actively use voice features.
• Location Data: Location only if you enable location-based features.
• Technical Data: Device type, OS version, and app version.

2. How Data Is Collected

• Directly from you when you enter tasks or content.
• From Apple or Google during authentication.
• Through device permission prompts (microphone, location, photos).
• Automatically for technical stability purposes.

3. How Data Is Used

• To provide core planning functionality.
• To sync data securely across devices.
• To enable optional AI-powered task parsing.
• To maintain and improve the App.

4. AI Data Processing

Planno includes an AI feature that converts natural language into structured task details.

What Data Is Sent to AI

• The text you type for a specific task.
• The current date and time (to interpret relative references such as “tomorrow”).

No account information, email addresses, existing tasks, or unrelated data are sent.

Which AI Service Is Used

Requests are routed through Lovable AI Gateway (ai.gateway.lovable.dev), which forwards them to Google Gemini. The AI extracts structured task fields (title, date, time, duration) and returns them. The gateway does not store submitted text and does not use data for training.

Data Flow

• Your message → backend edge function (server-side)
• → Lovable AI Gateway
• → Google Gemini processing
• → Structured response returned
• → Saved to your private database

Database access is protected by Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring only you can access your data. Third-party processors are required to maintain equal or greater data protection standards.

5. User Permission

Planno requests explicit device-level permission before accessing microphone, location, or photos. If permission is denied, related features will not function.

6. Data Sharing

Data is shared only with authentication providers and secure cloud infrastructure providers to operate core functionality. We do not sell personal data and do not use data for advertising.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Data is retained while your account is active. Upon verified deletion request, data is permanently removed within 30 days.
